Snow Blind
When it snows like this, even white can conceal anything. The snow comes down so thick that the boarder between ground and sky blur and one can drown while walking on dry land. But nations don't drown. They don't die so easily. As inches of snow turned into feet, the nisse shielded its master.
There was so little movement outside the nisse's warm arms that even the sounds of snow falling could be heard. Each unique snowflake made it's own sound...
Yet no one hear them but the nisse.

Re: Snow Blind
Travelers were rare in the icy wasteland of Norway. Even rarer were those still human enough to aid losts souls out on the icefields. Yet, here these travelers were, sliding across the ice with their bobsled and icecleats, searching for life in the blinding white. They were by no means good semaritins. No, such people rarely existed anymore. These were raiders. Though they'd help any straggler get to the city, once there, these raiders would sell their new companions as slaves to the slavers.
On the icy plains of Norway, there are few victims for the raiders. In fact, in this particular area, there are no humans. Just one troll and one lonely nation. To the raiders' eyes the nation would appear no different than any human, and the troll as visable as air. As such, it should come as no surprise that when the raiders fell through the ice shell around the nation Norge, they only saw a young man wrapped in a windbreaker. Though Nils did not appear to be ideal for labor, certainly customers would not mind having such a lovely, clean child in their home.
The nisse losened its grip on his master and allowed the raiders to pull Nils from the ice. Uncertain of their intention, the troll watches the raiders carefully as they pull his master toward civilization.
